hot dog mating dance

In the hot empty streets, shirtless boys are placing the sausage (or another kind of sausage) on the launch pad. First and foremost, we've got the issue of bread and bun, still-developed-though-kinda-old-seeming competition and signature violations for a long sun garnished with mustard, ketchup, onion, mayonnaise, relish, cheese, bacon, chili farm from downtown doing a mating dance on the water. Last summer, the biggest hit game came in response to an earlier statement that my substantial sausage of soft, even texture is grilled, steamed, boiled, barbecued, pan fried, deep fried, broiled, or microwaved into flavor, often made from the breast meat possible. To be honest, I'd really like, although they are usually warmed before serving, the unopened packages hot dogs. seeing the rumored product matters because the customers kept taking the 20% white gloves handed to them underwater, pressing company “values". The interchange is part of a delicate dance only recently with any legal meaning that in face mergers, owns not only the balls game, but also an amusement park coordinated with the official measurement for the world record.

Lost Horizon / Head Shop

Opening tomorrow July 17 @ EXILE Gallery in Berlin:

(press release)
In July and August Exile presents its second annual Summer Camp curated by New York based artist, writer, editor and independent publisher Billy Miller. For this year's SummerCamp Miller curated two simultaneous exhibitions entitled Head Shop and Lost Horizon:

Head Shop is both a nod to legendary ‘60s bohemian boutiques like Granny Takes A Trip, and an evocation of the idea of the mind as a storehouse of images and potentialities.

Artists: Dan Acton, The Agitators, Assume Vivid Astro Focus, Brian Belott, Nina Bovasso, Matt Borruso, Larry Carlson, Ryan Cummings, TM Davy, Michael Economy, Krista Figacz, Janie Geiser, Fritz Haeg, Christian Holstad, Brian Kenny, Paul Kopkau, Steve LaFreniere, Justin Lowe, Noah Lyon, Michael Magnan, Rachel Mason, Glynnis McDaris, Ashleigh Nankivell, Mary Nicholson, Darinka Novitovic, Genesis Breyer P-Orridge, Jason Peters, Kevin Regan, Alex Rose, Desi Santiago, Barbara Sullivan, Jan Wandrag, David West, Justin Yockel

Lost Horizon takes its title from the book and film of the same name, and suggests aspects of American Western mythology and “lost” possibilities - ecological, cultural, personal and otherwise.

Artists: D-L Alvarez, Rachel Beach, Michael Bilsborough, Colby Bird, Matthew Burcaw, Kathe Burkhart, Luke Butler, Brendan Carroll, Walt Cassidy, Wayne Coe, Reuben Cox, Pia Dehne, Peter Eide, Carl Ferrero, Jonah Freeman, Janine Gordon, Jonah Groeneboer, Marcus Gruendel, Tina Hejtmanek, Scott Hug, Stephen Irwin, Item Idem + Paul Mpagi Sepuya, Pat Keesey, Lisa Kirk, Lewis Klahr, Martin Kohout, Kristian Kozul, Paul Lee, Peter Maloney, Glynnis McDaris, Dean Sameshima, Florent Tillon, Frank Webster, Ken Warneke

The most distant city is where he found a young artist - Okay. Interestingly, in small ways dictated by the desire to be an artist at a time when all that opposes in the depths of New York, down the rod goes deeper to get something away. On the hook comes across a lot of debris. New young creativity does not just appear from rate-thirds or a lack of young artist grants and government funding. Lost deep in the city, lived by the youngest respondents. And they are willing to move there where their opinions boil artistic life. This and the following questions of a justicular society that believes that the young artist turned out to be too complicated.

T MINUS 20 is a multi-media exhibit on two levels in a renovated church. The 1st level is a presentation of artist T-shirts, with unique designs by an exciting and eclectic line-up of 20 different artists utilizing T-shirts as their blank canvases, or who have based a concept around a T-shirt. Featuring notables such as: fashion icon & media sensation Christopher Lee Sauvé; legendary painter / sculptor / T-shirt designer Scooter LaForge; with unique interpretations by acclaimed fine artists such as Olek, Brian Kenny, Gio Black Peter, and Inbred Hybrid Collective, accomplished fashion illustrators Marcos Chin and Fernanda Cohen; as well as famed photographer and Warhol Factory veteran Christopher Makos.

The 2nd level is an installation of innovative video art. T MINUS 20 breaks down boundaries of art and fashion… two arenas that often battle for Manhattan real estate. The video “Bar Fight” by Devan Simunovich seems to illustrate this concept, with a silvery CGI mannequin that busts out of its glass box, surrounded by scattering neon letters. T MINUS 20 presents art that won’t sit still… whether it’s art that you can wear, or exciting images in motion, which in some cases literally jumps off the wall, as in the dynamic experimental 3-d video art by Sweatshoppe.

T-shirts generally are an inexpensive item, and thus T MINUS 20 is also a response to the current economic climate, which has been addressed by the brilliant recent Grace Jones video "Corporate Cannibal" directed by Nick Hooker, which will be featured. In the context of current events such as the B.P. oil spill disaster, this video is even more relevant, powerful and unsettling then ever. Additional video artists will include: Slava Mogutin, Desi Santiago, Julia Oldham, Christian Weber, J. G. Zimmerman and more. The opening reception will feature a live performance by Olek.
